She's overseen award-winning work for brands like Samsung and Qantas, and her influence extends to Sonar's feature, television, and documentary projects, including 'I Am Mother' and the Oscar-nominated 'Tanna'.
Sophie's expertise is recognised industry-wide; she's been a juror for Spikes Asia and AWARD, and a regular contributor to trade publications. Under her guidance, Sonar has achieved remarkable success, making significant strides in the global music and sound landscape.
In her decade plus of experience she’s worked with Australia's who’s who of creatives and production houses as both a TV and music producer, and in her seven years with Sonar Music, Sophie has been the driving force behind the rapid development of the advertising side of the business. She’s cast a watchful eye over globally awarded commercial work for brands including Samsung, Qantas, NETFLIX, Cadbury, Optus and NIKE.
With Sophie’s steer, Sonar’s feature, television and documentary projects have continued to grab the attention of the globe, including the soundtrack for 'I Am Mother', starring Hilary Swank, 2017 Oscar Nominated film 'Tanna', the behind the scenes documentary 'The Director and the Jedi' with Lucas Films and HBO’s feature film Fahrenheit 451.
Sophie sat on the Spikes Asia 2017: Music jury and the AWARD 2018: Radio jury, MADC 2022, AICP Post Awards 2022 and can regularly be seen in trade publications commenting on how we can make the local music and sound industry better.
